The Breeders’ Cup is among us and it is now time for two of the most exciting days of the year. The world comes together to race some of the best horses in the world against each other for the chance to be on top of their division, to capture one of the best races in the world, as well as to take home a large purse. This year’s Breeders’ Cup features, for the first time, a Triple Crown winner, with American Pharoah going for the Grand Slam. Also in the Breeders’ Cup is Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe winner Golden Horn, hoping to end the curse of Arc winners in the Breeders’ Cup and take home the Turf. The Breeders’ Cup is also home to future stars, in the likes of Songbird, Rachel’s Valentina, Nyquist, and Harmonize, just to name a few of the great 2yos racing this weekend. Champions are all around these two days, filled with great racing in the heart of the bluegrass, Keeneland Race Course, host its first Breeders’ Cup.
For the Breeders’ Cup, I analyzed every race, giving my take on all 13 Breeders’ Cup races. My detailed analysis can be found here. For your convenience, I have listed my top 4 horses for each race below.
